The BIS 2025 Chair invites Program Committee members of the conference, scientists, and practitioners to organize Workshops and Events (e.g., symposium, consortium meeting, project dissemination meeting, special session, etc.) to be held in conjunction with the BIS 2025 Conference, taking place on June 25-27, 2025 in Poznań, Poland.
The submission deadline for workshops and events proposals is December 15, 2024. If your schedule does not allow you to undertake this effort, feel free to forward this invitation to a colleague.
For almost 25 years, BIS has provided a platform for bringing together researchers, practitioners, and academics to present and discuss ideas, challenges, and potential solutions on established or emerging topics related to research and practice in business information systems. More information on the current and previous editions of the BIS conference is available on the conference web site at bisconf.org.
BIS 2025 workshops and events may address all aspects of business information systems. In particular, they may focus on the conference theme: “AI-driven business transformation: challenges and opportunities” as well as the topics listed in the Call for Papers among the categories:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Large Language Models
- Digital Transformation
- Big Data and Data Science
- Knowledge Graphs
- ICT Project Management
- Smart Infrastructures
- Social Media and Web-based Business Information Systems
- Applications, Evaluations, and Experiences
The proposed workshop may take place over any duration within the conference dates, from a half-day to three days. The BIS organizaing team will support its organization, including participant registration, website creation, and partial promotion of the call for papers, allowing workshop organizers to focus on the scientific aspects of the event (i.e., review and selection of papers, structuring presentations into sessions, etc.).
