In the logistics sector, digital transformation has ceased to be a technological trend and has become a strategic necessity, requiring the redesign of business models and operational processes.

This workshop aims to analyze how digital transformation—including both artificial intelligence and the broader ecosystem of IT solutions—supports the logistics and sustainability in modern business. Papers should focus on the perspective of management and quality sciences, examining organizational readiness and the challenges related to data quality, which are essential for digital technologies to deliver sustainable value. This workshop provides a forum for exchanging knowledge on how to move from the experimental phase to solutions that not only increase efficiency but also solve real environmental and social problems while maintaining business sustainability, especially in the area of logistics.

Topics of interest

Machine Learning, Data Mining and Deep Learning

Business Intelligence

Data Science and Analytics for Management

Sustainable Logistics

Sustainable Entrepreneurship

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting (ESG)

Cloud Computing

Digital Transformation in Logistics

Business Process Management

Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Information and Cybersecurity Management

Green Transformation and Sustainability

Blockchain for Business Processes

and other topics related to the workshop’s scope.

Submission guidelines

Papers approved for presentation at AILS will be published in the BIS 2026 workshop post-conference proceedings as a volume in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP) series.

Information for LNBIP authors: www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines

All papers must be typeset using template: LaTeX or MS Word (templates are also available at the Springer website)

The paper must not exceed 12 pages (including abstract and references)

Work-in-progress reports: max. 6 pages.

Papers must be submitted in PDF format according to the Springer LNBIP template.

Submissions must represent work not previously published or presented elsewhere.
