The Doctoral Consortium, organized in conjunction with the BIS 2026 conference, aims to provide a collegial, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating environment for doctoral students working in the field of Business Information Systems and related areas. As part of a well-established international forum, the Consortium brings together emerging scholars and experienced researchers to discuss the development, implementation, and advancement of business applications and systems.

Purpose and idea

  • To give students the opportunity to present their work in front of an international audience
  • To offer consultation of the ongoing PhD work
  • To inspire students towards new research areas
  • To provide students with feedback and discussion opportunities in a supportive environment

Acceptance criteria

Interested students should express their willingness to participate (registration).

Participants should submit:

  • Selected contributions can be considered for inclusion in the workshop post-proceedings (publication late 2026), published by Springer in the LNBIP series
