For BIS 2021 the authors will have the opportunity to publish with Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) in open access model. Accepted full papers will be published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0. Proceedings published by TIB will be available on-line with DOI number and indexed, therefore it will also be necessary to typeset using a homogeneous template.

Submission guidelines
Main conference
- language of publication: English
- paper must not exceed 12 pages (including abstract and references)
- paper must be prepared according to the following guidelines and template: LaTeX, MS Word
- please include an abstract at the beginning of the paper (max. 250 words), which clearly presents the achievement or contribution of the paper
- please include 4-7 keywords best describing your paper
- we understand that you submit your original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere, and that you agree to publish your work when it is accepted by the Program Committee; you will be required to send a signed copyright form at a later stage
- at least one author should register for the conference and present the paper; only registered authors’ papers will be included in the proceedings
- the authors will prepare the final manuscript in time for its inclusion in conference proceedings
Workshops
- language of publication: English
- paper must not exceed 12 LNBIP pages (including abstract and references)
- paper must be prepared accoring to Springer’s LNBIP guidelines and template
- please include a 100-word abstract at the beginning of the paper, which clearly presents the achievement or contribution of the paper
- please include 4-7 keywords best describing your paper
- we understand that you submit your original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere, and that you agree to publish your work when it is accepted by the Program Committee; you will be required to send a signed copyright form at a later stage
- at least one author should register for the conference and present the paper; only registered authors’ papers will be included in the proceedings
- the authors will prepare the final manuscript in time for its inclusion in conference proceedings
- a signed and completed copyright form (if the paper was accepted)
